During my writing class today, we were tasked with finding something really interesting to take a picture of. It’s hard to lie and say that we had any sort of strategy for this besides going into a building with air conditioning. My group and I walked inside the Life Science Complex and searched around for some thing cool. We repeatedly scoped out the hallways but nothing was catching our eye. Right when we were about to give up, we noticed a cylindrical structure above us that was covered in windows. We thought that the way the windows reflected onto the other windows was really pretty. As we kept looking at it, we observed how the architecture was a clever blend of glass and brick.
It’s fascinating to know that something so beautiful can be overlooked. It makes you want to stop walking to classes routinely and instead take in the details of the campus.
